Seize the Day 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run Virtual Race 

Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana hosted its annual 5K and 1-mile fun run, Seize the Day, This community awareness day hosts over 1200 people and is the largest epilepsy advocacy day in the state. This year, the Epilepsy Alliance raised over $40,000 and had 23 teams and 260 participants from 16 parishes and 7 states! Project Purple Butterfly participated this year by hosting a Stretch & Strengthen class and a walk/run on Bayou St. John. We also exceeded our fundraising goal of $500 this year. The money raised from the event allows the foundation to educate schools, corporations and government entities, provide services to those living with epilepsy, and help raise public awareness.
